Learning Objectives:

At the end of this lesson, the student should be able to:
(a) define a polygon and give examples;
(b) define the term 'perimeter;'

(b) Find the perimeter of polygons, for example, a square, rectangle, trapezium (trapezoid), pentagon etc.

(c) calculate the perimeter (circumference ) of a circle;
